A Toast To Shoaf
Friday, September 4, 2009Its amazing to me when I stop and think about how many successful people I bump elbows with on a day-to-day basis here at the Empower studio. Many of the clients here are at the top of their profession, and they are well known in their perspective industries. I’m obviously partial to the health and fitness industry. That being said, I wanted to take the chance to honor my fellow colleague and friend, Patty Shoaf.
Patty has been a trainer at Empower for over 3 years, and she unquestionably has the most decorated athletic career amongst anyone I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with. Patty was recently inducted to her county and high school hall of fame. Top honors in basketball, cross-country, track and softball got her there, while a tenacious, never give up out look on life will indefinitely continue this trend for her.
I run the risk of embarrassing Patty if I mention all of her athletic accomplishments, so I’ll just end this by saying: You’ll never know all the faces in a crowd, but if you get lucky and meet just one like a Patty Shoaf, you’ll learn that you can accomplish anything if you give it your all and never give up.
You can learn more about Patty’s story by visiting, www.pattyshoaf.com……..oh, and by the way…..she can ride a bike pretty good too!
