Surprise, Surprise
Monday, May 10, 2010Tell me if this sounds familiar (and exhausting)
- Up at 5:30;
- Shower for 15 minutes;
- Dressing and grooming;
- Get Kids up;
- Dress kids;
- Fix breakfast;
- Make lunches;
- Feed family;
- Drop off kids
- Grocery shopping;
- Put away groceries
- Gather laundry;
- Rinse and put dishes in dishwasher;
- Clothes to dryer;
- Car to service – oil change;
- Friend for lunch;
- Pick up kids;
- Take child 1 to soccer;
- Child 2 to dance;
- After dance back to pick up child 1;
- Get kids snack;
- Fold laundry;
- Prepare dinner;
- Eat;
- Dishes (again);
- Watch TV 1-hour;
- Kids to bed;
- Read 30 minutes;
- Bed.
So whose day looks like this? Mom’s that’s who.
And amongst all this, moms also need to find the time to take care of themselves and exercise.
The next time you take your mom for granted. Think about this list.
